How to prepare for an inspection

• Be available the full day of the appointment.
• Ensure the inspector will have safe access to the site.
• Make sure the site address is clearly visible.

A re-inspection fee could be charged because of unsafe access, no entry or inability to locate the property.

All work shall be left uncovered until inspected and all work is approved by a Safety Codes Officer. If any such work, or any portion thereof, has been covered up before being inspected, the work shall be uncovered by the owner or contractor executing such work and left uncovered until such inspection may be completed.
